    The SmoothSkin Bare+ Ultrafast IPL Hair Removal Device works the way all Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) hair removal devices do - with light energy. It uses bright and targeted pulses to kill the hair follicles deep down at the root so they stop producing hair. Over time, fewer and fewer hairs grow back.

    And the SmoothSkin Bare+ Ultrafast IPL Hair Removal Device does this even faster with 30% more energy for noticeable results in just 4 weeks. After the first 4 weeks, just top up every 2 to 4 weeks to maintain your hair-free results. It's so easy to use. There's only 1 setting with 2 treatment modes and a safety sensor, so you can't get it wrong. Before starting, make sure you match with the skin tone and hair colour chart.

    A 12-week treatment plan is all it takes to ensure all hair follicles are treated and destroyed, and after 12 weeks you’ll only need to complete top-up treatments. After the first 4 weeks, hair starts to grow back lighter and thinner, after 8 weeks hair re-growth slows down, and then after 12 weeks top-up treatments every 2 to 4 weeks.

    WHO CAN USE SMOOTHSKIN BARE+ IPL HAIR REMOVAL DEVICE?

    SmoothSkin Bare+ IPL Hair Removal Device is suitable for those with skin type I to V on the Fitzpatrick Scale. It is not suitable for use on white, grey or red hair.

    Since grey and white hair do not contain enough or any melanin, IPL treatment will never work on these hair colours. Red hair contains a different type of melanin, which is also not responsive to IPL.

    SmoothSkin Bare+ is also not suitable for very dark skin tones (VI on the Fitzpatrick Scale), as it can cause skin damage

    How does it work?

    SmoothSkin Bare+ is designed to help break the cycle of hair growth:
    1. The light energy is transferred through the skin's surface and is absorbed by the melanin present in the hair shaft.
    2. The absorbed light energy is converted to heat energy (below the surface of the skin), which disables the hair follicle preventing further growth.
    3. Treated hairs naturally fall out over a period which can vary from a few days to 1 to 2 weeks depending on the individual.
    HOW TO USE YOUR SMOOTHSKIN BARE+
    The SmoothSkin Bare+ Hair Removal Device works by targeting your hair follicles. For successful results, you must have a significant difference between the colour of your hair and the colour of your skin.
    Before using your SmoothSkin Bare+, prepare the area you want to treat by making sure you have shaved. Remove all visible hair before every treatment, and use on cleaned and dried skin.
    Any hairs remaining above the surface may damage the front of your device. Remember, don't use any gels or creams with this device.
    Step 1. Power on your SmoothSkin Bare+ device. Plug the power supply in using the cable provided. The skin tone sensor on the front of the handset will illuminate blue, and the fan will start up.
    Step 2. The SmoothSkin Bare+ has a unique skin tone sensor. During treatment, the sensor is continuously active, searching for a valid skin tone. If there is no correct skin tone, the device cannot be activated.
    Step 3. Press the handset firmly against the area you want to treat. The indicators around the activation button will illuminate white when the device is ready to flash. Press the activation button. The device will flash, and you will feel a warm sensation. Move the handset to the next area to be treated and continue!
    To get the best results, ensure that the entire area receives treatment. For stubborn areas like underarms, treat by running your device over the same area a maximum of 3 times. When you have finished your treatment, unplug the device from its power outlet.
    You can use the Stamp or Glide method for treatment. The Stamp method is best for small areas like your face or underarms. You place the handset on the skin, press and release the activation button. T
    hen, remove from the skin before re-applying to the next treatment area. The Glide method is best for larger areas such as legs. Place the handset on the skin, press and hold the activation button.
    Then, glide the handset along your skin between flashes. Move the device at a steady speed to ensure you get full coverage without any missed areas or overlap.
    Before you use the SmoothSkin Bare+, read the user guide for important safety and how-to-use information.
    Contraindications:
    DO NOT USE SMOOTHSKIN BARE+ if you have a history of skin cancer or precancerous lesions (e.g. nevi or a large number of moles).
    DO NOT USE SMOOTHSKIN BARE+ if you have any of the following: Dark brown or black spots such as birthmarks, moles or warts in the area you wish to treat. Chronic skin disease (e.g. psoriasis or vitiligo) or damaged skin (e.g. sunburn, cuts, open wounds or active infections) in the areas you wish to treat. Varicose veins in the area you wish to treat. Tattoos or permanent makeup on the area you wish to treat. If you have a known sensitivity to sunlight (photosensitivity) or are taking medication that makes the skin more sensitive and causes photosensitivity.
    If you have had a skin peel treatment on the area you wish to treat. If you are pregnant or lactating, as this device has not been tested with these individuals.
    SMOOTHSKIN BARE+ is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe and 9 Glass Filter proper use of the device by a person responsible for their safety.
    SMOOTHSKIN BARE+ should be kept out of the reach of children under 18 years of age. Children should not use, play with, maintain or clean the device.

    This Smoothskin Bare+ IPL hair removal device is easy to use, it doesn't hurt and so far after using it for a month I've noticed my hair thinning on the areas I've used it on. Very happy with my purchase!

    Great investment

    I held back from getting this for too long and instead spent way too much get hair removed in a salon. I’m really astonished by how effective this is, i kept my expectations low but it honestly works!

    I don’t have hair on legs anymore

    I’m never leaving reviews on websites but this time I have to…my hairs are dark on a pale skin…and I do have millions of hair on my legs. After like 5 weeks using this machine I start to see a reduction and now after 6 weeks I’ve basically have nothing to shave…I’m really impressed.

    The only down sides is that is not really working on my arms or face and also after 6 weeks the machine start to be really slow and you can feel on your skin that the light is not powerful as before, I hope is not gonna be broke as I have the intention to use this quite often and not just 6 weeks

    A brilliant little gadget

    Was a bit suspicious of the low price compared to others on the market, but pleased to say this product is great! Completely painless, 30 minutes a week and five weeks in hair growth is already significantly slower.
