To get the most out of your SmoothSkin Pure Fit you should start off by using it once a week for 12 weeks continuously. There is no increased benefit from using your SmoothSkin Pure Fit more than once a week.
SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair Removal Device is effective on skin types I to V on the Fitzpatrick Scale and blonde to dark hair.
IPL technology is based on the relation between melanin in the skin and in the hair. It can be ineffective on white, gray or red hair. Since gray and white hair do not contain enough or any melanin, IPL treatment may not work on these hair colors. Red hair contains a different type of melanin, which is not responsive to IPL.
IPL is unsafe for deep-skinned users, as the skin is rich in melanin and could absorb more than the safe amount of energy.

It's been a month+ since I received my SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair Removal Device and I feel I have given sufficient time to give some real feelings and thoughts based on the usage of the product.
Having Mediterranean heritage, I am prone to excess facial/body hair and it has been the bane of my existence since I reached puberty back 63 years ago. In my youth, women having a mustache or facial hair was not acceptable or liked and a constant reason for my brothers to tease me. In my 20's I began bleaching the upper lip caterpillar and that seemed to keep obnoxious comments away. Then a better way was devised for complete removal with waxing. As I have aged, my skin has thinned and waxing is no longer acceptable for me as it tears my skin and is more painful. It's a shame because a full beard to appeared go with my mustache.
Now, to the present day in 2024. I cannot tell you how I wish this product had been available to me back then. I have used this treatment every other day for the past month and I have only about 10 dark hairs left on my entire face! Admittedly, the gray hairs are all still in tact, but the product tells you it won't get them so I am not upset by that at all. The point is, the dark ones are completely gone! Had I known about this product back even 10 years ago, I could have removed ALL the hair on my face while it was still dark.

IF YOU’RE STUCK BETWEEN SMOOTHSKIN AND BRAUN, GO WITH SMOOTHSKIN!
I recently bought a hair removal device from CurrentBuddy and had a fantastic experience. Before this, I owned the Braun IPL Pro 5, which started malfunctioning after just three sessions. It had inconsistent flashing, which seems to be a common issue with Braun IPL devices, making it very frustrating to use. Thankfully, I was able to return the faulty unit to CurrentBuddy, and their excellent customer service helped me get a full refund two months after the purchase.
I’ve now switched to the SmoothSkin Pure Fit, and it's a far better choice. Here’s why:
Affordability: The SmoothSkin device is much cheaper than Braun.
Performance: Both devices are similar in functionality, but SmoothSkin detects skin far more accurately and consistently. Braun struggled to detect my skin properly, slowing down the process, whereas SmoothSkin works flawlessly every time.
